In the first round of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross season, Team Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence made history by winning his first 450SX Class Main Event. Jason Anderson of Monster Energy Kawasaki secured second place, and Chase Sexton of Red Bull KTM claimed the final podium spot. This event also marks the 50th anniversary season of AMA Supercross, and points earned contribute to the 31-round SuperMotocross World Championship.
In the Western Regional 250SX Class, RJ Hampshire of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing emerged victorious, taking the lead in the early-season standings. Jordon Smith from Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing finished in second place, while Levi Kitchen of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki secured the third spot for his new team in the 2024 season.
